Make Perfection More Perfect , Make Ingenuity More Ingenious

To revitalize the culture of Chinese chinaware, Songfa devotes to the innovation of chinaware manufacture to achieve perfect combination of traditional craftsmanship and modernized production. Songfa imports advanced foreign automatic production line for cups and bowls, develops continuous low-energy tunnel kilns, and applies new materials and Continuous Surplus Energy Recovery System to make the kiln energy consumption rate achieve the international leading level.

Songfa adopts Whole Process Standardizing Quality Control System, to ensure flawless products in every step. As for those high-end chinaware which need multiple firing, Songfa also complies with the standard strictly.

Moulding

Conform to the shape needed, the mould is maded. A handful petunse, will go through a fantastic trip.

Casting

Cast the porcelain clay into the mould, removing the extra. Wait quietly for the birth of porcelain body.

Roll Shaping

Rolling head acts in harmony with the mold. The head and the mould roll around the axil in the same direction simultaneously for the birth of a porcelain body.

Body Amending

The ancient porcelain making, even if the development so far, it still needs meticulous manual operation. Every body amending represents a porcelain craftsmanship.

Biscuiting

High temperature fire reaches 750-800 ℃, given a porcelain the tough quality. Biscuiting is a important process in porcelain making, which determines the fine degree of porcelain appearance.

Polishing

It is like to be a farewell to the soil. Polishing the bisque body, which removes the impurities on the surface.

Colored Painting

Colored painting gives a porcelain stories, which come from the craftsman’s hands. Underglaze is a painting on the raw body. Overglaze a painting on the body has been fired by high temperature.

Glazing

Glaze color makes the porcelain to be more exquisite and elegant, smooth, waterproof, beautiful, tenacious and meanwhile, gives the porcelain more connotations.

Glaze firing

Firing the glaze with the 1200-1300 ℃ high temperature after glazing process. Glaze firing owns countless porcelain craftsmen’s wisdom and experience, which is the key to the success of porcelain

Decal Baking

After the decoration on porcelain, it still needs to experience the third times of firing patterns, firmly attached patterns to the glaze. An outstanding porcelain must owns both of inside and outside high quality.

Decaling

A noble dragon still needs eyes. Pasting the classical or fashioning patterns on the surface to give every porcelain its own goodliness.

About Glaze Techniques

Overglaze

Overglaze is fired at 1200 to 1300 ℃ kiln to be white porcelain blank. After painting, then fired at 800℃. The roasting temperature isn’t up to degree of melting, the pattern can’t sink into the glaze, and thus it is named overglaze.

Glaze

Glaze is the new technology developed in the 1970s. First painting on the surface of glaze, then fired at 1100 ~ 1260 ℃ high temperature. (Usually it is not more than half an hour). Second glazed package will be melting; the pigment penetrates into the glaze. After glaze cools down, the glaze surface will be closed. At last painting will be sealed between two layers of glaze, and thus it is named glaze.

Underglaze

Underglaze is known as kiln glaze. Underglaze is a method of decorating ceramic articles in which the decoration is applied to the surface before it is glazed. First artist paints on the raw body which was fired at 750-800 ℃ temperature. Then add a layer of white glaze on the surface, and fired at 1200-1300 ℃ temperature again. At last glaze will subsequently cover it, and thus it is named Underglaze.

Automatic pad printing

Produce by automatic intelligent machine, transferring the patterns etched on the steel plate to the porcelain with silicone. And then glazed and fired. The under glaze process makes the products more safe and healthy, elegant and gentle.
